Name & Title: Ana R. (Receptionist/Office Assistant)
Describe yourself in three words:
I’d say that I am outgoing-although might seem shy at first! I am also creative and like to show that through my personal style and makeup! Last but not least, definitely very athletic. I like working out and sports were always big in my family! Besides playing basketball throughout middle school and high school, I play tennis and used to be a coach as well!
Favourite song, why?
Too many to count because I like different genres, but at the moment Ay Vamos by J Balvin! This one in particular I currently play all the time because of the rhythm! Also you can’t tell me that any song in Spanish doesn’t make you want to get up and dance!
Favourite movie, why?
This one is very hard because I have many favourites! When it comes to comedies it has to be Rush Hour. It’s such a classic comedy that never gets boring! Other than that, any thriller with Anthony Hopkins!
Favourite book, why?
I enjoy reading autobiographies or biographies in general. However, one book that stands out to me is The Man in The Iron Mask. This was the first book I read in English after moving to Canada.
Favourite brand, why?
Another hard question as my friends would say that I am a bit of a shopaholic! To narrow it down however, Gymshark and Nike because leggings and athletic wear are my go to. When it comes to accessories and jewelry I like minimal pieces from Gucci.
What’s your favourite thing about working at Danavation?
I was excited to start working at Danavation to begin with, however couldn’t have foreseen how welcoming and comfortable my first week was! It’s the people that work here and the company culture and drive that add to the overall atmosphere and make this a place I want to progress and succeed in!
Quote to live by:
No regrets, because I think that life is too short and everything happens for a reason! Was that 3 in 1!
Fun fact about you:
Many people don’t know that I wasn’t born in Canada. In fact, I was born in Serbia and lived there until I was 13!
If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?
Teleportation, because I would love to skip traffic and the process of boarding on a plane!
What is your greatest accomplishment?
Besides my Bachelor’s, I’d say my biggest accomplishment was acquiring and perfecting my tennis skills in a short time! It takes most people more than a few years to master the technique, therefore managing to do that in a much faster manner and becoming a coach later on was something that taught me that hard work and dedication pays off!
Your favourite tradition in your household?
One of my most favourite traditions in my household is anything around holidays! New Years and birthdays were always our favourites, and one of our traditions was opening one present each day until the day! I remember growing up, we’d stack the Christmas tree with so many gifts for each of us that we’d start opening gifts almost 2 weeks before the actual holiday!
The first two that come to mind are a Kinder Egg, because I’m always a kid and mostly look forward to seeing what toy I got! In the meantime, one can never go wrong with a Cosmopolitan cocktail! It’s the glass it is served in, the ingredients that go in it and the vodka that make it my absolute favourite.

Although I have travelled to a few places, the three that I look forward to seeing the most once the current state of affairs clears up include Miami, Monte Carlo and Santorini!

Anything else interesting about you that you would like to share:
